Sorry I haven’t posted in a while (if anyone’s out there . I’ve been very busy on the new Very busy at workjob just trying to learn as much as I can as fast as I can. I am enjoying my new job but it’s sometimes hard when you have a strong desire to contribute to the team and you feel stuck in the mud due to not having access to systems, not having necessary knowledge in areas, etc. Over time this will not be the case so I just need to be patient.

As far as the my feelings about the new job:
1. The people are great. It’s so nice to work with folks that are very willing to help when needed.
2. The new headquarters is pretty awesome. It’s amazing to start a new job with a new building, offices, etc. How lucky is that?
3. It’s pretty cool to work in a company that is very crucial to everyone. All people need electricity that is as reliable as possible at the lowest cost as possible. That’s what we help power providers do.

Before my 5 months of volunteering at church, I went a few years with dread about going in to work each day. I can say now that I actually look forward to going in to work. God has blessed me for sure.

And on top of that, God added one more wonderful blessing related to the job. One of my best friends will be joining my team in a week. I can’t wait!
