I just wanted to post a few pictures of my newly rebound ESV reference Bible that I use at home. It’s the version I like to use the most and highlight and take notes inside. This was done by Leonard’s Book Restoration Station who did my first rebind as well.
It’s covered with very soft, black goatskin with silk moire end pages. It includes 3 navy blue ribbon markers as well. It has wrap-around bands on the spine with some blind-stamped decoration. There’s also a blind-stamped border around all the edges of the Bible but these are hard to see in the photos. Blue and white head and tail bands were added. One of the most important things I asked them to do was to arch the spine outwards a little. The original had kind of caved in. They did a very nice job.
I had a hard time finding good lighting so bear with me on the pictures. My daughter needs to give me lessons on taking good photos because I’m not that good. ![]()
