It has been an incredible journey. One that would have been quite stressful and full of anxiety for me in the past but since I put it all in God’s hands, the worry and concern was much less burdensome. The blessing was truly in having the opportunity to work at my church through this whole “season” in my life. The staff there are wonderful and if they ever read this, I want them to know I love them and they are a great blessing to me.
All that to say, I was offered a job this past Thursday afternoon and I accepted! Woo hoo! I start on July 2. And this is not just any job. It’s a position with the company I have had the desire to work for over the last 3 years. I had no idea God would provide so wonderfully. I’ve had many interviews, disqualified myself for jobs in interviews, withdrawn my application before interviewing, and have even turned down a job offer throughout this timeframe. For those that have prayed for myself and my family, we greatly appreciate you and your faithfulness.
From early on, God kept telling me (through people, the Word, and circumstances) to wait and be patient. If not for Him, I would not have been able to do so. But I was. And now, God is fulfilling Psalm 37:4 – “Delight yourself in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart.”
God is good!
Trey

Your dedication and faithfulness through these past few months has been an inspiration to Bob and me. We are so happy for you and know you will love your new job! Stay in the center of God’s will for your life and you will continue to be blessed.
Thank you very much and thanks for the prayers.
Trey you are truly a model in following the 4 ESSENTIALS FOR “PURE JOY’ LIVING in Allan’s sermon this morning. So happy for you.
Thanks Allene for the nice comment. I don’t deserve that comparison though.
